Introductions Please!

HELLO! . . .

LET'S CUT TO THE CHASE:
Many music blogs we visit consist of people posting files of albums substantiated with short blurbs and/or pertinent tidbits. But what happens after you have listened to these downloaded albums? What happens after you listen to any music in general? I should hope you engage fellow enthusiasts in some level of conversation or discussion about it, no?

Therefore, for your entertainment, and our own amusement, my dear friend Joshua and I  shall document something we have done since the get go of our friendship: dork out about music(!); whether it be our sentiments and feelings for what we love or, perhaps, an equal disdain for the pile of poop we recently discovered. I say dork out because in most friend circles there is inevitably this level of "dorkery," but we have always rather reveled more than dorked; for we are romantic fools and, admittedly, music dorks. Our dialogue(s) reflect the same level of enthusiasm we feel in the music and as a result, we've recognized an ever strengthening bond in our own friendship(s).

We are lovers of many different kinds of music, but we tend to focus on the post punk/indie/pop side of things, so at times some bands might be a bit obscure, focusing more on bands that never quite got the credit we felt they deserve; thus, more often than not, the  conversations will lean favourably on the shouders of these acts (unless of course, we're not into the group, then we're just really, really funny).

HOW DID THE TITLE COME ABOUT?
joshua: ...it's akin to a reissue of early 90s Paul Haig material
know what I mean?
good, but who cares?
lorelle: mmmm. thats a great name for a book
Good, But Who Cares?
joshua: hahaha
tru
e
lorelle: Thats totally the name of the blog!
joshua: wow
LOVE it
lorelle: Good, but who cares!

POINT?
Alas we're simply presenting a unique angle by which to appreciate the music we love. The posts will predominantly exist in the medium of IM banter which is how Joshua and I usually converse as we are "counter-continental" (meaning: opposing coasts of this country, which probably doesn't exist as a real term as much of my word speak at times doesn't, but it's real because we say so; So there!)

Music fans and lovers of commentary here we are! Thanks for showing up & listening in ... we make no pardon for stating how we feel and highly encourage commentary of equal interest and enthusiasm... Cheers!
Th' Moderator Dorks
